Basic Rules of The Society
Here are some of the more important rules of The Society. A comprehensive list of the rules can be found in Town Hall. Each family unit has a set of Society Rules, which they are expected to adhere to. If this is a problem, the Community Leaders may become involved. As a community, making a set of rules was one of our first priorities. We realize that structure is important and there must be guidelines in The Society in order to function properly.
Some Main Rules and Guidelines
1. Society members must adhere to the daily schedule
2. All members will receive meals, a place to live, and a family unit

4. Society members will vote on the Community Leaders and the Community Board members
5. We will are a peaceable people and will act in that manner

Governmental Structure of The Society
The Society believes in giving every member a voice. With that being said, The Society wants every member to feel comfortable voicing their opinion in a safe and open format. "The people are the true eyes in the community," says The Society's Head Community Leader, Sara Jones. "Because of this, we want people to tell us if they see a problem that needs to be fixed, we want them to tell us. While we are out in the community every day, we do not always see everything that happens."
We operate under a social democratic system, where elected Community Leaders make the final community decisions. The Community Board may be called upon to assist the Community Leaders in making a final decision. The Community Board is made up of one representative from each job faction. This was created to ensure that the voices of the people were being considered in each community decision. Society members may voice their concerns at a Community Meeting, and the Community Leaders will make the final decision on the issue and the actions that will result. "We want to make informed decisions that are best for the whole community, not just one member. We must remember, we live as one, and therefore must understand what is best for the one community," Jones states.
Community Leaders make and enact laws. Members of The Society can suggest areas of communal improvement to the Leaders. We want to make sure the voices of the people are truly listened to. While it is acceptable to have differing viewpoints, we resolve our differences in a peaceful manner. The reason we have nightly Community Meetings is to ensure that there is set time where residents can voice their concerns. If two groups cannot come to a peaceful agreement on an issue, a meeting will be held with those groups. We will not tolerate severe disagreements, and those community members may be asked to leave. We must always remember: One Society, One People, One Goal. If we cannot work together, we will get little accomplished.
